Managerial Coaching Literature Review

Paul Lawrence of Sydney Business School (University of Wollongong) undertook a review of the literature relating to managerial coaching. While the review reveals debate about the meaning of managerial coaching, it is generally taken to be the capacity of organizational leaders and managers to use executive coaching principles and skills as part of the managerial process. They are in effect, in-house coaches.

Paul’s review also gives a detailed summary of the wide range of models for coaching, highlighting the basic skills that make up coaching practice.
